abttac welcomes membership to all professionals working in the theatre automation and live events sector, as well as students studying with an interest in entertainment automation.

Whilst the nature of our affiliation with the ABTT, the Association of British Theatre Technicians, means that this committee is predominantly aimed at the British Theatrical automation sector; the invitation is absolutely extended to those working in related industries such as concert touring, film and television, in the UK and around the world.

There is no requirement to be an ABTT member in order to join abttac.

We also have no membership cost and abttac members are invited to participate as much or as little in committee meetings, events and projects as they wish.

abttac proactively welcomes and encourages membership to everyone irrespective of age, professional experience, gender identification, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs or socio-economic class.

Applicants are advised that the abbtac administrative team are all working professionals. Applications will be processed as fast as possible but waiting time is liable to vary depending on the schedules and demands of the shows and projects that our team are also involved with.
